The skeptics among us would do well to not be so public about their skepticism. It's rather humbling when you have to later confess things happen for which there is no rational explanation. If you don't believe it, leave it be. You gain nothing from bashing someone else's experience. I lived in a haunted house for part of my childhood, and the effects of some of those encounters still haunt my dreams thirty years later. No personality disorders. No psychological conditions of any kind outside of the stress associated with surviving in a high cost of living part of the country. I have a religious background but have sadly never been considered adamant about my faith. Others may question the authenticity of this story. I do not and hope few of us will ever have to experience such encounters. Having lived through some of my own experience, I can tell you it is frightening and nothing Hollywood or my own fiction writing will ever be able to properly capture.
