I'm a little surprised by the comments that gravitated to the issue of weight. That wasn't the takeaway for me from the article. My only observation there is that sometimes a man or woman will decide to get in shape and clean up after the relationship as opposed to during the relationship. In general, this was a well-written article and starts the process of unraveling the complicated layers that lead to divorce.
